大学期间，在一次兼职做英语助教的时候，冯老师就为外教的授课方式所吸引，从此以后便对英语教学产生了浓厚的兴趣。毕业后，她又选择前往澳大利亚参加中文志愿者项目，在Scoresby Secondary College担任中文助教，那段经历让她又对国际化教育与文化交流有了深刻的认识。怀着对个人未来发展与学术能力提升的需求，冯老师又申请到了英国攻读TESOL专业硕士的机会。

From the first time when Feng worked as a part-time foreign teaching assistant, she was attracted by the teaching style of the foreign teachers' classes. Since then, she has developed a strong interest in English teaching. After graduation, she went to Australia to participate in the Chinese volunteer programme and worked as a Chinese teaching assistant in Scoresby Secondary College. The experience gave her a deep understanding of international education and cultural exchange. Then she applied for a master's degree from the University of Aberdeen in the UK and completed her TESOL study, in order to enhance personal future development and academic ability.

现在，冯老师作为一名英语教师兼五年级班主任。不仅负责孩子们日常的英语教学，而且还在德育方面给予同学们无微不至的关照。白天在教室坐班，与学生们朝夕相处，关注学生们各方面的需求与潜能发掘。

Feng is an English teacher and a homeroom teacher in St Bees SJZ. In addition to teaching, she takes good care of her students' moral education, spending a lot of time with the students and keeping a close eye on them.

当看到课堂上同学们精彩发言与表现，她都会用手机记录下来，并用心剪辑成学生集锦Vlog，与家长们进行沟通交流。分享孩子们在校期间的点点滴滴。当发现上课时学生们状态不佳，她也会在课后和学生沟通谈心。让同学们以积极，自信，快乐的精神面貌，在圣比斯学校里度过愉快的学习生活时光。

When she saw the wonderful moments in class, she would use her mobile phone to record them and make them into a class vlog. When she found that the students were not in good condition in class, she would communicate with them after the class. Let the students have a positive, confident and happy life in St Bees SJZ.

值得一提的是，她的办公桌上有一个笔记本，用于记述所有孩子们的成长足迹。比如哪些同学从内敛腼腆到积极踊跃发言？哪些同学从对数学没有兴趣到天天“缠”着老师去请教解题思路？甚至哪位同学在教室教室没人的时候，默默捡起地上的垃圾扔到垃圾桶，这些日常的小细节冯老师都记在了本子里，用心关注每一位同学的成长与变化。

There is a book on her desk, which records that some students have been active and enthusiastic in class since they were afraid to speak. Some students are not interested in mathematics, and now they ask the math teacher to solve problems every day. Some students pick up the litter on the ground and throw it into the garbage when there is nobody in the classroom. These are all recorded by her.

Kitty是班里英语口语不错的小姑娘，周一的国旗下双语演讲冯老师请Kitty打头阵，为孩子们做出表率。同时鼓励其他的孩子们勇敢尝试，细心准备。对于薄弱的孩子，冯老师提前两周开始辅导，如何发音、如何断句，一遍遍地领读一遍遍地指导，孩子们在练习中读的越来越好，也越来越有自信。

Kitty is a girl who speaks good English in the class. On Monday, Feng asked Kitty to take the lead in the bilingual speech under the national flag and set an example for the children. At the same time, Feng encouraged other children to try bravely and prepare carefully. For children with weak English, Feng began tutoring her children for two weeks before the event, how to pronounce, how to break sentences, read again and again. Then children read better and better and became more and more confident.

说起每一个学生，冯老师都如数家珍。有的学生责任心强，便安排他负责监管值日；有的学生好运动，便由他带领课间操；有的学生做事细致，便请他检测记录每日体温......每个学生都各有所长，冯老师在此基础上因材施教，使其各尽所能。每个学生都可以强化自身优势，并且从中获得成就感和满足感，由此积蓄长久成长的内驱力。

Feng is very familiar with every student. Some students have a strong sense of responsibility, they are responsible for regulation on duty; Some students like sports, they lead the class exercises. Some students work carefully, they test and record their daily temperature...... each student has strengths. On this basis, Feng teaches students according to their aptitude and makes them do even better. Each student can gain advantages, and get a sense of achievement and satisfaction, thus accumulating a long-term growth of sucssess.

Don't be shy and timid because that will hide your strengths and interests. Be brave and confident and that will help you to pursue the beautiful things in your heart.
