武老师深知教师是一份责任，一个使命，不仅要做孩子的老师，也要做孩子的“妈妈”。孩子生病了，我们可以抱一抱；孩子不知所措了，可以朝他笑一笑；孩子不开心了，就和他闹一闹。

Teacher Wu understands that being a teacher is more than just a responsibility or a mission, Expert Teachers have to take on parenting roles when necessary, in order to get the best out of their students. When the child is sick, she’ll hug them; when the child at loss, she’ll guide them; when the child is sad, she’ll entertain with them.

武老师作为一名语文教师，主张语文教育以人获得更好的身心发展为基点。语文教育不仅在于让学生更好地进行语言表达，同时在于帮助学生形成良好的思维方式、培养美好健康的情感与心理认知、完善和提高学生的自身人格与人文修养。

As a Chinese teacher, Mrs. Wu advocates that Chinese education should be based on better physical and mental development. Chinese education is not only about allowing students to better express themselves, but also to help students form a good way of thinking, cultivating emotional and psychological cognition. Whilst also improving and enhancing students' personalities and humanities.

“教育源于生活，成长回归自然。”是她崇尚的理念。在语文教学中，她会用贴近生活学语文的方法。她请小朋友们带植物和小鱼放到教室，观察它们的生长变化，写下观察日记，以此锻炼孩子们的观察和表达。

"Education comes from life, and growth returns to nature." This is her philosophy. In Chinese teaching, she will teach Chinese in a way that is resembles life itself. Previously she has asked the children to bring plants and small fishes to the classroom and observe their growth and changes, writing down the observations in diaries to help develop the children's observation and expression skills.

“要学会走路，也要经历摔跤，而且只有经过摔跤，他才能学会走路。”教育要撤退一步，学会放手。武老师用这种方式激发学生的自主意识，挖掘学生的潜能发挥。

"You must learn to walk, and experience fall, and only after falling can he learn to walk." Education is about letting go. Teacher Wu uses this method to stimulate students’ sense of autonomy and uptap the students’ full potential.

现在的班长曾经是个腼腆的小姑娘，她性格内向不太爱讲话，起初在班级点名都只敢用小小的声音。但小姑娘有主见有想法，老师给到了她充分的信任、锻炼机会，比如家长会的流程请班长组织学生自由讨论，来梳理出流程和人员安排。在两个月后，家长惊讶的发现她更自信更开朗了。

The current class Prefect used to be a shy girl. At first, she only used a quiet voice to call the roll in class. But the girl has her own ideas, and Wu has given her full trust, training and opportunities. As an example, the girl was asked to organise students' discussion of the parent meeting process, and to sort out the process and personnel arrangement, which she handled perfectly. After two months on the job, her parents were happily delighted to find that she was more confident and outgoing.
