中秋节自古便有祭月、赏月、拜月、吃月饼、赏桂花、饮桂花酒等习俗，流传至今，经久不息。中秋节以月之圆兆人之团圆，为寄托思念故乡，思念亲人之情，祈盼丰收、幸福。上师大附二外剑桥双语部的学生们在老师的号召下，遵循优良传统，并在原有的节日庆祝上进行与时俱进，因地制宜的创新。

中秋活动

Since ancient times, the Mid-Autumn Festival has been associated with many Chinese traditions, including eating moon cakes and drinking osmanthus wine. The round shape of the moon symbolizes the reunion of people, family gatherings and the hope of harvest and happiness.At the call of the teachers, the students of SFLS continued the essence of this beautiful tradition while adapting it to modern day circumstances.

剑桥部小学的冰皮制作是分批在班内进行，所以各班各有特点。

Each class has its own unique features as they make moon cakes.

一年级：Grade 1

你拍一，我拍一。去把小手快快洗。

你拍二，我拍二。要把冰皮切成片。

你拍三，我拍三。莫把月饼做饼干。

你拍四，我拍四。我要尝口试一试。

The students first wash their hands and divide the icy dough into small sections. They roll the moon cakes into shape and after printing the designs on them, they all taste what they have made.

二年级：Grade 2

年小可爱身段好，打扮好似嫦娥仙。羽扇纶巾青少年，月饼圆似水中天。

During the festival,

the girls dress up in beautiful traditional clothes

and the boys are also handsomely dressed.

三年级: Grade 3

一搓二揉三定型，一来二去三团圆。同聚我校新教室，共叙友谊新篇章。

The students made many friends

in the process of making the moon cakes.

四年级：Grade 4

金凤荐爽，玉露生凉。丹桂香飘，银蟾光满。虽是外籍，情系中华。月饼奉上，幸福美满.

On this day, foreigners and Chinese are united as they celebrate the Mid –Autumn Festival together.

五年级：Grade 5

恰逢中秋，明月当空照，仿古乞巧许愿。 临近升学，彩霞洒万里，手中颇为“圆满”。(喻月饼形状)

The Grade 5 students hope is for better grades as they celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival.
