上师大附二外剑桥双语部2018年12月研学活动来到江南三民文化村，2012年1月被大世界吉尼斯记录评为“最多木质雕花板组成的造型——中华龙”位于这里。“中华龙”一共有5000块木质雕花板，象征着中华民族五千年的文明史。上师大附二外剑桥双语部许多学生在研学日志中描述此龙：栩栩如生，活灵活现。

The third stop on their research journey was the Sanmin Cultural Village in Jiangnan. In January 2012, it received a Guinness World record for their Chinese Dragon, as “The most shapes composed of carved wooden boards.” It is a total of 5000 pieces of wood carved boards, filled with symbols of the Chinese nation’s rich 5000-year old civilization. Many students, impressed by this magnificent structure, wrote vividly about the lifelike dragon in their travel journals.

“木偶戏”的表演也吸引了学生的注意，来自六年级A班的陈一诺(Nacy)写下了她对文化的思考，小小年纪、观察独到、思想深刻、颇有几分才华。

The local dialect Puppet show also provided great entertainment for the students.Nacy Chen of Grade 6A wrote down her thoughts on culture and heritage. She is a thoughtful, observant and talented student. Below is an excerpt from her journal.

她在日记中这样写到：

今天，我去接触上万件爷爷用过的、爸爸知道的、儿孙不懂的东西——民俗文化。.......不知为何心里一阵感动，这种非物质文化遗产在现实中已经很少有人接触到。在我幼小时，太爷爷表演过“武松打虎”，现在太爷爷已经去世，物是人非。今天再次观赏，我心里有种说不出的滋味。今天表演的师傅七十多岁，说明已经很少有人愿意把这种文化传承下去。几个小孩子在一旁嘲笑老师傅的乡音，我真不知如何说教他们。什么样的人可以笑看非物质文化遗产“乡音木偶戏”呢?再联想其他，“中国结”始于先民的结绳记事，崇明的文化特色是“扁担戏”，早年的“皮影戏”主要用牛皮和驴皮制造而成。在我列出的这些中，又有多少人全部了解呢?.......

“Today I saw ten thousand things which Grandpa used, my dad knows about and which his children and grandchildren don’t know about- folk culture. I don’t know why I was so moved by the fact that this intangible cultural heritage is seldom seen in everyday life. When I was a child, my great-grandfather performed “Wu Sung Fights the Tiger”, and now he has passed away. Looking at today’s performance by the old master in his 70’s, I was greatly moved. So few people are willing to continue this tradition. I don’t know how to admonish the younger children who laughed at the accents of the characters in the “Dialect Puppet Show”. Let’s think about something else… The traditional Chinese knot began with the ancestors tying knots to keep records before the invention of writing. Chongming’s history also includes “pole drama”, the early years of “shadow puppets”, using cowhide and donkey skin. I made lists of all of these things. How many of you know all of this…?”
