上师大附二外国际部中方教师期末述职大会回顾

上师大附二外国际部2019届毕业生offer频传捷报:5%的学生进入美国Top30;40%的学生进入美国Top 50;90%的学生进入美国Top100;剩下10%的学生进入英国、澳洲、欧洲等世界著名大学。在光辉卓著的战绩后面,离不开全体教师(中教和外教)的辛勤付出。为了便于师生沟通,学部让所有的中方教师担任班主任,在这样的背景下,有了本次中方教师期末述职大会。

The graduating class of 2019 offers a report of success: 5 students were accepted at a Top30 university in the USA; 40% of the students were accepted at Top50 US universities and 90% of the students were accepted at Top100 American universities. The remaining 10% will be attending world-renowned universities in the UK, Australia and Europe. Behind the scenes of these amazing achievements, is the hard work of the Chinese and foreign teachers.

中方教师述职大会由学校副校长崔晶出席,学部德育主任朱学武主持,10名班主任教师参加。会议全流程公平、公开、公正,各位教师根据抽签顺序发言。虽说是严肃的会议,然而同事之间的深厚情谊,让会议变得趣味横生。在插科打诨中,通过各位教师的陈述,2019届毕业生offer频传捷报的原因似乎露出了冰山一角。

The Review conference was attended by Vice-Principal Ms. Jing Cui and chaired by Ms. Zhu Xuewu, Head of the school’s Moral Education. The meeting was conducted in a fair manner, with the teachers having drawn lots to decide the order of making their presentations. Although this is a serious meeting, the deep friendship which exists between the teachers is very evident, providing us with a glimpse of why the class of 2019 has had such great success.

李跃超老师教授科学课,担任班主任,同时负责学生会工作。他的述职报告出现的最多的一个词就是“尊重”,累计出现23次。本学期90%大大小小的活动都有他的身影,他是学生心中的“超哥”。

Mr. Li Yuechao teaches Science, acts as Home room teacher and has also been responsible for the Student Union. The most commonly used word in his debriefing report is “Respect”-which appeared 23 times. He has been responsible for most of the student activities this semester, and has earned the nickname “Super Brother” in the hearts of the students.

葛倩老师教授语文,她的述职报告拥有丰厚的人文情怀,她重视用诗歌、文学、宗教文化去熏陶学生的人文素养。她提倡:但行好事,莫问前程。

Ms. Ge Qian is a Chinese teacher. Her report is filled with rich cultural sentiments. She attaches great importance to edifying and uplifting students through poetry, literature and religious culture. She advises students: “Do good deeds without expecting a reward.”

常琳青老师,她的工作重点之一是辅导学生备考TOEFL,在暑假中她将密切和学生取得,竭尽全力去提高学生的学习能力,让更多学生如愿进入心仪大学。

Ms. Chang Linqing’s main priority is to tutor students to prepare for the TOEFL examination. During the summer vacation, she will be in close communication with the students and make every effort to help the students improve their learning abilities, so that more students can enter universities of their choice.

杜兴龙老师教授历史,在班主任工作中,他常常利用早晚自习时间找学生私下谈话。他给学生布置的作业极其有特点,引用学生的原话是:老师,你布置的作业在网上从来都搜不到答案啊。

Mr. Du Xinglong teaches History. In his role as class teacher, he often uses the morning and evening self-study time to talk privately to his students. The homework he assigns to the students is also very unique and in quoting the students’ comments, said:” Teacher, we have never been able to find the answers to your questions on the internet!”

黄迪轩老师教授心理,当日也正是她进入职场一周年,特别感谢同事尤其是崔校的点拨、支持与鼓励。她的工作汇报有新颖的亮点:她通过微视频、辩论赛、校园话剧等方式开展教学,辅导学生的心理工作,得到师生的认可。

Ms. Huang Dixuan is a Psychology teacher and this has been her first year of practical teaching. She thanked colleagues and made special mention of Vice-Principal, Ms. Cui’s coaching, encouragement and support. Her report has some highlights worth mentioning: she teaches through micro-video, debating competitions, campus life play-acting etc. and trains students in psychology techniques. This has all won her the approval of her colleagues.

张春宇老师教授历史,本学期她克服困难,开启了双语教学,得到了学生及领导的肯定,在未来,她将大胆创新、锐意进取,带领学生尝试户外教学。

Ms. Zhang Chunyu taught History. This semester, she was successful in starting bilingual teaching. Her colleagues and leaders are very appreciative of her efforts. In the future, she hopes to keep forging ahead, to be bolder and more innovative, leading the students to try their hand at teaching out of school.

项玉老师教授语文,本学期她不仅要做好授课工作、班主任工作、还要做好学部号工作。项老师真诚的感谢了给予她支持和帮助的老师。项老师在本学期中,收获颇丰。她这样比喻:引导学生往既定教学成长目标方向走的过程,就是一个“挖坑和填坑”的过程,老师要会挖坑,让学生主动的去填,比“赶鸭子”上架有效果。

Ms. Xiang Yu is a Chinese language teacher and she has had many duties this semester. Apart from her teaching responsibilities, she also wrote the news blog of activities for the American Department website. She thanked the teachers who had given her such great support and assistance. She expressed that she felt she had gained a lot this semester and used a metaphor to explain the process of guiding the students towards the given goal of learning and growth: “ It is a process of digging and filling the pit: the teacher will dig up the knowledge and key points and allow the students to take the initiative to pick it up and make it their own- fill the pit. This is more effective than forcing students to learn as it guides students to gradually become more skilled in difficult material.”

柳李仙老师教授政治,具有浓厚的爱国情怀,这一情怀也传递到她的学生身上,对于培养“世界人才”具有重要意义。正所谓师者,传其道解其惑,言行一致是对学生的熏陶。

Ms. Liu Lixian teaches politics, has a strong patriotic spirit and has passed this sentiment on to her students. This is of great significance in cultivating students with “universal talents”. She has helped her students to overcome any confusion by providing them with a good example of consistent words and deeds.

施秀英老师通过激励学生做“小老师”,让学生对知识点融汇贯通;课堂之外,勤做学生思想工作,注重反思总结,帮助学生全面成长。

By motivating students to assess themselves, teacher Shi encourages students to integrate new and existing knowledge. Outside the classroom they are encouraged to reflect diligently on what they have learned and pay particular attention to summarizing that knowledge.

刘子帅老师教授体育,特别注重培养学生的团结精神和集体精神,未来他将双管齐下,教学和班主任工作两不误。

Teacher Liu Zishuai is a Sports teacher who pays particular attention to cultivating team spirit in the students as well as a competitive spirit. In future days, he will follow a dual pathway; teaching in the classroom as well as on the sports field.

本次述职大会,也是一次老师互相学习,一起领悟,共同提高的机会,老师们去粗取精,取长补短,将新方法、新技能运用到新学期的教学中,让学生受益,自己也受益,完美的达到了本次述职大会的目的。

This review meeting is also a time for teachers to learn from each other, find ways to improve and make the most of every opportunity. Together, teachers can learn from each others strengths and weaknesses, discard the dross and select the essential. This meeting was an important time to discuss how to apply new methods and skills for the new semester, so that the students reap the benefits and achieve the goal of this meeting perfectly.
