Hello everyone, my name is Jim from grade 10. My theme today is the advantages and disadvantages of mobile phones for students. Maybe these contents can help you understand our mobile phone better. Let's start with the advantages of mobile phones.

Mobile phone is an important communication tool, which can communicate with relatives and friends anytime and anywhere, get information from each other and increase emotional level.

Mobile phones can guarantee the safety of students to some extent. When they encounter crisis situations(such as fire, critical patients, theft and robbery, traffic accidents, etc.), they can contact relevant departments for help.

The mobile phone can record the phone of teachers and classmates, so that they can get help from others when they encounter learning or life problems. Meanwhile, the SMS function of the mobile phone can let students say something embarrassed to say personally and increase the communication degree.

The entertainment function of mobile phone can relieve the students' learning pressure, achieve the effect of combining work and rest, and improve the learning efficiency of students.

Mobile phones can read news, increase students' vision, and pay attention to the social dynamics immediately. Even if they are at home, they can also understand the whole world.

After discussing the advantages, let's talk about the disadvantages of mobile phones.

Nowadays, mobile phones are replaced quickly, and they are easy to be damaged as electronic products. However, students have no source of personal income. Purchasing, repairing and replacing mobile phones will inevitably increase the burden of family expenditure.

2Mobile phone will cause students to compare with each other, affect the campus atmosphere and distract students' attention.

3Mobile phone games, SMS, e-book functions make many students do not listen carefully in class, play mobile phones, seriously affect learning.

In class, the ringing or vibration of mobile phone will disturb the teacher's class and affect others' listening.

A large number of unhealthy websites and information spread through mobile phones will seriously affect students' mental health.

The radiation of mobile phone will affect the health of students in the development stage.

Fraud, temptation and threatening information may make the students with poor judgment ability be cheated and their safety threatened.
